Nick Carrigan brings a strong analytical eye and wide variety of experience in serving the transactional, business, administrative and litigation needs of our clients. His practice includes corporate matters, corporate governance, contracts and leases, regulatory matters, business sales and mergers and acquisitions, as well as estate planning, insurance matters, real estate, immigration law and family law.

Nick has represented individual and business clients of all sizes, from sole proprietors to several Fortune Global 500 companies. He has effectively and successfully represented his clients in litigated cases involving contract claims, construction defect actions, contribution, reimbursement and indemnity claims, insurance coverage claims, and real estate disputes. With his background in both transactional law and as an experienced litigator, he has successfully negotiated multi-million dollar business deals, resolved disputes prior to the need for filing litigation and during litigation and, when negotiations were impossible, successfully obtained favorable court rulings and jury verdicts. He also provided analysis and opinions to insurers regarding all aspects of insurance coverage.

Nick serves as outside general counsel for a variety of businesses of all sizes, and is the primary point of contact for all of their legal issues. Additionally, he is an experienced estate planner, working with families to ensure that their assets are preserved and transferred in accordance with their wishes.

Nick has presented continuing legal education seminars and spoken at national conferences advising attorneys on topics regarding business entities, estate planning and asset protection. He has also authored articles regarding business entities and transactions, insurance coverage and legal developments impacting his clients and their operations.

Prior to forming Next Gen Law Group, Nick was an attorney at both a national law firm and boutique firms specializing in business litigation, corporate transactions, insurance defense and insurance coverage.
